If you've had the chance to attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas last week, you may have noticed that the tablets are everywhere. An attempt to catch the wave of the extremely popular generated by the Apple iPad Tablet success, many companies threw their hat in the ring to see if they can hang a compressed market share. Among the many new Tablet hopes, there are many manufacturers of Tablet from lower-priced offering Android 2.2 or 2.3 as their operating system (OS) of choice in order to reduce costs.
Some tablets will provide Windows Mobile 7, some featuring more large screen sizes to better meet manual College needs such as eBooks, and all hopes be hopes to survive. There are players big names like Motorola and Panasonic and then there is a small business looking for a piece of the pie compressed. Naturally, it is likely that most is not catching on, or, at best, they can seize a small niche.
