According to Yugatech, a leading technology blog in the Philippines, Apple iPad 2 is set to be released in the Philippines on Friday, April 29, 2011. Power Mac Center Facebook Page was said to be his source of information. However, Apple PR has not confirmed this yet.
Some commenters on the blog provided additional information. Messie said that according to a very reliable source, the Apple iPad 2 will also be released on other premium Apple resellers such as the Digital Walker, A. Shop and iStudio. For the Digital Walker, Messie said that iPad 2 will only be released on its three branches, namely, Market Market, Galleria and Robinsons Place Ermita.
No details on the pricing have been announced yet. Yugatech assumes that it will be the same as the suggested retail price of the first generation iPad which are as follows:
